Road Work

Road work will begin Monday, October 6, 2025, on the major thoroughfare of 9th Street.

The 9th Street Resurface Project will include work between a point just south of Caddo Street intersection and the Nabor Street intersection. Although work will allow for one side of the street to be open during construction, drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes during the project.

The project will specifically begin between Park Ave. and Cherokee Street encompassing much of the Marlow Middle School campus. School officials are releasing information for parents/guardians who pick-up and drop-off students at the school in a separate communication.

The work is partially funded by the Municipal Roads Drilling Activity Fund (MRDAF) through the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. The funds were made possible by an Oklahoma House of Representatives bill authored by former Marlow Mayor Brad Boles.

Gorman Paving, of Oklahoma City, was awarded the contract for the work through a competitive bid process. The $422,759.95 project is scheduled to take 60 days.
